The Hangman
The hangman waits for the next victim with a grim look on his face
The man in question bounced to the gallows and remarked to his executioner with elegance and grace,
“Why do you look so glum mate? It’s not the end of the world that I must depart from this place
This is just the beginning of the journey for me so there is nothing to fear. Now, if you would please be a dear and...
Shattered Soul
All he wants is for his demons to finally flee
To stop thinking and contemplating and just Be
But he cannot escape from the plague of his flawless and persistent memory
And now knows it’s only a matter of time before he flings his shell of a body into the sea
Religious Ruminations
I have a strange fascination with other cultures and religions. I am currently reading the I-Ching, A book on Zen Buddhism, The Tao Te Chang and am beginning to restart my attempt of pushing through the Koran. I want to understand people and how they work. I don’t ever want to be ignorant. I think it’s kind of funny because I personally lost many of my own religious views a few...
(This Is Why My Blog Is Called The Outlet)
Per usual, what I am about to share is just what has been on my mind lately and I feel the need to explain in writing so that I can stop dwelling on it and hopefully accomplish some peace. Tumblr gives me the false belief that anyone who is reading this is either someone who I know and trust or someone who has completely no idea who I am and therefore I have the mindset of no harm no foul. ...
X
I just finished watching a movie about Malcolm X for the second time in my life and yet again it has put me in an extremely interesting emotional state. I think it should compulsory that every American should read his autobiography or watch that film (which is a dead on depiction of his biography). It is completely worth the 3 and a half hours to get to know better one of the most misunderstood...
As I’ve said before, if you ever die before I do I will fucking kill you.

There is supposedly a recipe (I prefer the word recipe to equation) as to how to make a cynic that goes have a romantic and add time and experience. This has always really upset me. In many ways I have felt the effects of this and often times find myself considering whether or not I believe that love, at least the romantic flavour, truly exists. All this considered I think life is kind of a...

I have been trying to decide recently which I think would be worse; Feeling the same, but being told you are different from how you were, or feeling different, but having everyone tell you they think you’re the same.
“Once upon a time, a king gave a feast. And there came the most beautiful princesses of the realm. Now, a soldier, who was standing guard, saw the king’s daughter go by. She was the most beautiful one, and he immediately fell in love with her. But what could a poor soldier do when it came to the daughter of the king? Well, finally, one day, he managed to meet her, and he told her that...
It’s not how many dragons you kill; it’s who takes home the princess.

British Banter
So I realised that since I have started using British spellings there are also some British expressions that I use in everyday conversation. I can’t think of them all, but here are the few that I can think of.
I say “mum” instead of “mom”.
I use the word “bloody”, but only when used in the expressions “bloody brilliant” and “bloody...
English Cook
Dan: I'm never going to be as good at cooking as my mom. I might be able to cook more, but never as well. You know there is nothing in the world like a good English cook.
Uncle Hal: That's true, however, outside of English families that isn't really regarded as a compliment.
Walk It Off
When I used to play sports whenever I would get injured I would always be told by my coach to try to “walk it off”. This had varying degrees of effectiveness although generally it never really fixed the problem so much as just gave me a way to become acclimated to this new pain I was experiencing. I feel like this advice has been some of the most detrimental ever given to me because...
I feel like I lost my voice years ago. I have just quietly accepted whatever has been imposed on me for at least the last seven years of my life. I’m getting tired of it. Things need to change.

The Dotted Line Mixtape by Sway Dasafo →
Dear Tumblr Community,
This is my Christmas gift to you because it has pretty much been all I listened to (non-stop) for the three days leading up to Christmas. If you would like to download it you need and account (which is free and all), but I think you can listen to it online without doing so. If you would like to listen to it please do if not that’s cool as well.
Love, Andrew
Holidays take on a whole new vibe when you’re your parents designated driver. That was one of the funniest/most annoying experiences of my life. My mother currently thinks I am secretly married. I’ve decided if people have the right to get drunk then I have the right to mess with them when they are. Anyways, hope everyone’s Christmas Eve was just wonderful. :)
The Black Sheep
It’s Christmas Eve and I’m actually rather excited. I get to see my entire super-Italian family and, for those of you who don’t know, one of the traditions that Italian families have on Christmas Eve is that our meal has 7 fishes. I am a vegetarian and therefore to don’t eat fish. I’m the only person in my family who is so I have formed my own little tradition of...
Best Explanation of Chess Ever
Person A: Now look it's simple, it's simple. Now this is the King, and he the Man. You get the other dude's king and you got the game, but he's trying to get your king too, so you gotta protect him. Now the king, he move one space any direction he damn choose 'cause he's the king. But the rest of these motherfuckers on the team, they got his back, and they run so deep the king ain't gotta do shit.
Kid: Well how do you get to be the king?
Person A: It ain't like that. You see the king, stay the king.

An Observation
I used to think that the stuff on TV was absolutely trash. Recently I’ve been up and trying to entertain myself with TV from around 12-4 in the morning. Suddenly the stuff on during the day seems brilliant. Seriously it’s awful.
